Improved Profile Completion Unlock More Opportunities for Employers and Jobseekers

In Q1 2026, FastJobs introduced an improved, guided profile‑completion experience to help applicants create richer, more verifiable profiles. The update lets users verify their accounts with SingPass, import information from Career Skills & Passport (CSP) or upload resumes, and complete their profiles through a clear step‑by‑step flow. These changes are designed to raise profile quality for both new and existing users, making candidate information more complete and reliable.

Why better profiles matter for employers

More complete profiles mean faster, more accurate matching. With structured input on Profile Completion - Basic contact information, work experience, education, skills, languages, and an attached resume, our system captures the candidate data employers care about — reducing time spent screening and increasing the relevance of matches. Since the feature launched in February 2026, we have observed nearly 15% growth in users achieving Profile Completion, demonstrating improved data richness across the platform and increased Singpass verified users by 4x.

New hiring tools: Invite Candidate and Talent Search

To help employers act on better candidate data, we’ve rolled out Invite Candidate and Talent Search. These features enable proactive sourcing so you don’t have to wait for applicants to apply — particularly valuable when recruiting for specialised or skilled roles.

How Talent Search works

  • Advanced filtering: Search and filter candidates by skills, years of experience, education, languages, and availability.
  • Visibility control: Employers can invite only jobseekers who have enabled profile visibility.
  • Match scoring: Each candidate receives a match score against the job description; higher scores indicate a closer fit.
  • Outreach options: Invite candidates directly through the FastJobs Employer Platform, or download profiles and contact candidates via the details they provide.
