As of May 1, 2024, the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up of $4,000, which does not expire, can be used to offset nett course fees for selected courses with better employability outcomes.
Additionally, starting from the Academic Year 2025, mid-career Singaporeans can qualify for the Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy for publicly-funded full-time Diploma programs from various institutions.
This enhanced subsidy covers up to 90% of course fees for courses funded by the Ministry of Education and SkillsFuture Singapore.
In early 2025, a new SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance will be introduced for selected full-time, long-form programs. This allowance, based on 50% of one’s average income over the latest available 12-month period, capped at $3,000 a month, will support individuals for up to 24 months over their lifetime.
